My name is Eric Paul Cachinero, and I’m a Nevadan through and through. As a Sparks native, I spent much of my time exploring and familiarizing myself with many areas of the state, both rural and urban. Shortly after completing my Bachelor of Arts in print journalism at the University of Nevada, Reno in May 2013, I was lucky enough to start working with Nevada Magazine, and have loved every minute since.
When I’m not exploring ghost towns, riding a camel in the International Camel Races, or hiking in Lamoille Canyon for Nevada Magazine, I enjoy gold prospecting, soaking in a natural hot spring, or getting lost in the enormity of the Silver State’s wide open spaces. I truly have a passion for traveling in and writing about Nevada, and I hope to keep that appetite for adventure alive for many years to come.
