Easter is just round the corner, and the Silver State is bringing you a special weekend. Take a look at some of the events going on all around Nevada:

Whitney Peak Hotel – Reno

BaseCamp in Whitney Peak Hotel is hosting a series of Easter egg hunts for children ages 1 to 14. Other activities include art projects, cookie decorating, a photo booth, and prizes. The cost of admission is $7 for children ages 1-9, and $12 for ages 10-14 (the older group will be searching for eggs on the indoor bouldering walls and will be provided with extra gear and safety training). If children or families would like to continue to climb after the Easter egg hunt, they can do so at 50 percent off the regular BaseCamp day pass rates.

Lahontan Recreational Area – Silver Springs

Lahontan State Recreation Area is hosting its 20th annual Easter egg hunt on Saturday, April 4. More than 200 local children ages 12 and under participate in this popular event each year, which includes a hunt for candy-filledEaster eggs and a raffle for items including gift certificates, food vouchers, Easter baskets, and toys. The event begins at 10 a.m. and entry is free.

Spring Mountain Ranch State Park  

Spring Mountain Ranch State Park invites you to participate in its yearly Easter egg hunt on Saturday, April 4. Thousands of Easter eggs filled with treats will be hidden in one of the Ranch’s stunning pastures for children of all ages to hunt for. This event is very popular, so be sure to arrive early!

Circus Circus – Reno

Circus Circus Reno and 100.9 The Bandit present the 2015 Easter Keg Hunt at Circus Circus on April 2. The hunt for adults starts at 6 p.m. and is BYOB (bring your own basket). There will be awesome prizes hidden in eggs all throughout Circus Circus, including hundreds of dollars in food and beverage credits, Bandit gear, concert tickets, and more. One lucky grand-prize winner will take home a kegerator courtesy of CZYZ’s Appliance, a keg of your choice, a night stay in a VIP suite at Circus Circus, and $100 in-dining credit.
