In keeping with our yearlong coverage of extraordinary Nevada women, we wanted to note that the Nevada Commission on Women is not only hosting events all year long, but is also raising funds for its mission of advancing equality for women in all areas.

Right now, the Commission is selling women’s suffrage souvenir license plates for just $25. Also, you can show your support for Nevada’s women by purchasing a Nevada Women’s Suffrage Specialty License Plate from the Nevada Department of Motor Vehicles.

The Nevada Commission for Women unveiled a new Nevada license plate honoring the 100-year anniversary of women’s suffrage, during a ceremony at the Nevada State Library, Archives and Public Records, on Saturday, Nov. 2, 2019.
