Camp Broadway comes to Las Vegas Summer 2015
The Smith Center for the Performing Arts brings Camp Broadway to Las Vegas for its fourth year with two signature programs: Classic Camp for students ages 10-17 and Shining Stars Camp for students aged 6-9.
Classic Camp features five days of musical theater programming from June 15-19. Shining Stars Camp features five half days—choice of morning or afternoon sessions—of musical theatre creative play from June 22-26. Both programs are led by trained Broadway professionals who guide students through the process of learning scenes and songs from Broadway’s most famous productions.
Activities include acting technique workshops, exposure to the Broadway movement, and music rehearsal process and performance opportunities led by experienced Broadway professionals. Campers work together as a creative team to create works of art that will be performed in the Family Finale. Both camps are open to students of all skill levels; no previous experience is necessary.
Program prices at The Smith Center are set at $450 for Shining Stars and at $695 for Classic Camp. Children are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis and space is limited. For more information, visit thesmithcenter.com/campbroadway.
