Let’s get crazy for a celebration of one of the world’s greatest inventions – the bicycle! Dress to impress in your most colorful costume or wackiest outfit. Travel in style for an exhilarating 25-mile organized bike ride along the River Mountains Loop Trail or cruise with the kids on a 6-mile family fun ride. Afterwards, pedal to the park for a fitness festival and compete in bike and safety demonstrations, inflatable obstacle course, and cycling and fitness information booths. Explore over 180 miles of trails by bike or foot with Bike It or Hike It. Snap a selfie in front of any trail signage including trailheads, kiosks, and interpretive signs. Like or follow the City of Henderson on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram, and post or tweet selfies on Instagram, Twitter, or the city’s Facebook page using #bikeitorhikeit for a chance to win prizes. The grand prize is a hybrid bicycle valued up to $400.
