Historic Fourth Ward School Parties Continue
The historic Fourth Ward School in Virginia City was built in 1876, housed thousands of students in the boomtown during the Comstock Lode until it finally closed its doors in 1936. After sitting dormant for 50 years, the building was brought back to life in 1986 and today it serves as a cultural and educational draw, along with being a community center.
Every year, the Fourth Ward School hosts a series of parties to assist with the maintenance of the building. Below is a list of the parties still available for 2014.
